The Servants’ Quarters, Leominster
The Servants’ Quarters is a newly restored, unique self catering accommodation located in Leominster Town Centre. Originally the servants quarters of an impressive historic house, the apartment has been expertly restored to its former Edwardian glory, complete with servants bells and a fully equipped retro kitchen. The apartment can sleep up to 4 in genuine Edwardian brass beds. Prices start at £90 per night, minimum of 2 nights stay.
Although integral to the Town Council office and Information Centre, the apartment has its own front door on to Corn Square. The apartment shares an entrance staircase with the Council Chambers. Once you have entered through the apartment’s front door, you will have complete privacy.
The Servants Quarters have been restored to a high quality with fully fitted bathroom, retro kitchen with oven, hob and dishwasher. TV in lounge via Amazon Fire Stick.
History and Location
The Town Council building has stood in Corn Square for a century or two. We are not 100% certain of it’s history before the mid 1900’s, but we believe it may have been a grand house with an arch way connecting Corn Square to a stable block in the rear of the property (now housing The Old Stable Gallery at the rear of the TIC).
Corn Square is the centre of Leominster, you couldn’t be more perfectly positioned to explore the town! Every Friday Leominster’s market fills the Square with fresh fruit and veg, fish, cheese, clothing and much more!
Due to the location of the apartment, there is limited on-site parking. You should be able to park in our small staff car park overnight, but parking may be restricted during office hours. A short stay car park is available directly behind our building in Etnam Street. Long stay car parks are available in Broad Street or Dishley Street, approximately 5-10 mins walk away. Alternatively there is free on street parking on Etnam Street.
We are within 10 minute walk from Leominster Train Station and 5 minutes from Leominster Bus Station.
Due to the location and layout of our apartment, this accommodation is not suitable for those with mobility issues. The apartment is located on the first floor and is made up of two storeys with a mezzanine level. Shared main entrance (1 step). To access the apartment entrance you will need to climb one set of stairs (14 stairs). In the apartment there is one step, halfway down the hallway. To access the bathroom on the mezzanine level, there are 5 stairs. Access to bedrooms via one set of stairs (9 stairs).
Due to the stairs, windows and some of the features within the apartment, we unfortunately do not recommend our property for those with children under the age of 12.
We are sorry but we are unable to accept pets, except for service dogs.
